Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of These Terms

Quota (joinquota.app) is a social platform where sales professionals log deals and appointments, track their stats, and compete on leaderboards. By creating an account or using Quota, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Eligibility and Your Account

• You must be 18 years of age or older to use Quota.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and profile — your real name, your real role, your real company.
• You are responsible for your account: keep your password secure, and don't share your account or let others post as you. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• One person, one account. Don't create accounts for anyone other than yourself.

3. Your Content

You own the content you post on Quota — your deals, appointment entries, photos, comments, messages, and profile information. By posting, you grant Quota a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content according to the visibility settings you choose. Content you mark "Only Me" is displayed only to you; public and blurred entries are displayed to the community per those settings. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where content has already been shared with others (for example, messages you sent remain part of the recipient's conversation history until account deletion removes them).

4. Accuracy and Fraud — Real Numbers Only

Quota's entire value rests on the numbers being real. By logging a deal or appointment entry, you represent that it actually happened, in the amounts and on the dates you state.

• Do not log fake deals or appointments. Do not inflate amounts, backdate entries to game streaks, or log the same deal twice.
• Do not submit doctored, forged, or misleading proof for verification.
• Logging fake entries or submitting falsified proof may result in content removal, revocation of verified status, and account termination — at our discretion and without prior notice.
• To protect leaderboard integrity, Quota may remove content, revoke verified status, or adjust leaderboard standing at its discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud.

5. Verification Is Not a Guarantee

The verified badge means a reviewer looked at the proof a user voluntarily submitted and found it consistent with the entry. Verification is a good-faith review of submitted documentation — it is not an audit, an investigation, or a guarantee of accuracy.Quota does not independently confirm entries with employers, clients, or payment records, and is not liable for inaccuracies in any user's entries, verified or not.

6. No Earnings Claims or Advice

All income, commission, and deal information on Quota is self-reported by users and provided for informational and community purposes only. Nothing on Quota is a promise or indication of what you (or anyone) can earn in any sales role, company, or industry. Leaderboards, stats, company pages, and job postings are not financial, career, or professional advice. Make your own decisions and do your own diligence.

7. Confidentiality and Other People's Information

You are responsible for making sure what you post doesn't violate obligations you owe to others:

• Don't post information that breaches an NDA or confidentiality agreement with your employer or clients (e.g., confidential pricing, internal sales data you're not permitted to share).
• Redact client and customer personal information from proof uploads — names, addresses, account numbers — before submitting. Proof is reviewed privately, but it should still never contain someone else's personal data that you don't have the right to share.
• Don't post other people's personal information anywhere on the platform without their consent.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Don't:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users — in comments, messages, or anywhere else.
• Impersonate any person, company, or Quota itself.
• Post spam, pyramid schemes, or deceptive recruiting pitches.
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-collect data from the platform, or access it by automated means without our written permission.
• Attempt to bypass security measures, access other users' private data, or interfere with the service's operation.
• Use Quota for anything unlawful.

9. Termination

You can stop using Quota at any time and delete your account in-app (Edit Profile → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate your account, remove content, or revoke verified status at our discretion if you violate these Terms, post fraudulent content, or harm the platform or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 6, 10, 11, and 12) survive.

10. Disclaimers

Quota is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any user content (including verified entries) is accurate or reliable.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quota and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the service — including reliance on any user-submitted information. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (currently, Quota is free — so $100).

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Quota evolves. We will post changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date; for material changes, we will notify you in-app or by email. Continuing to use Quota after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
